Barbara I. Berschler
Barbara I. Berschler, a member of Press, Potter & Dozier, received her Juris Doctor from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and her Master of Laws from Washington College of Law, American University. She has been in private practice in the Washington, DC area since 1985.
Ms. Berschler has published numerous articles on intellectual property law. She received the Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione Award for Excellence in Intellectual Property Law from the Washington College of Law in 2003. Since 2006 she has been co-chair of the Intellectual Property Section of the District of Columbia Bar, chairman of the Section's Legislation Committee since 2003 and a member of the Steering Committee since 2005. She has been a member of the board of the Chamber of Commerce of Rockville, Maryland since 2007.
Ms. Berschler's practice consists of general business and commercial law, with a particular focus on intellectual property law, copyrights and trademarks.
