Attorney Dan Dozier has worked as a mediator and advisor with parties involved in hazardous waste site cleanup under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), commonly known as Superfund. His experience as a neutral settling nearly every type of environmental dispute has made him a nationally recognized expert in environmental law and dispute resolution.
Mr. Dozier is internationally recognized as an expert in this area, and has lectured on this subject at the Universidad de Buenos Aires y Foro International de Administracion Conflictos (FIAR) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has served as an Adjunct Professor in this subject at Vermont Law School.
Mr. Dozier is a hazardous waste cost allocation expert and has resolved cost allocation disputes at more than two dozen sites around the nation. He has worked with Potentially Responsible Parties (PRPs) to resolve equitable cost allocation issues at Superfund sites as a mediator and arbitrator and has served as an expert witness in hazardous waste cost allocation litigation.
